It's Time For Some Baseball
With spring in the air that can only mean one thing...It is time for some BASEBALL! There is no better sound than the cracking of a bat after a great hit and the smell of ballpark food. Oh, the ballpark food.
Major League Baseball's opening day is finally here! If you were not able to actually go to the ballpark to watch an opening day game, you will want to be sure not to miss one this season. After all, you still have 161 more regular season games you can catch this year.
The start of baseball means that spring is here and summer is not far behind. Get out to the ballpark this season and support your favorite player or team or just go out and enjoy some sun, fresh air, and great food.

Baseball has long been known as "America's Pastime." Even though MLB does have several teams based in Canada, this was not the case until in 1969. Baseball of course is played in many other countries around the world, but there is just about nothing more American than baseball.
The first major league baseball league was said to have been formed in 1863. The league was known as the National Association of Base Ball Players and consisted of 16 teams.
